The Story So Far
Because we're waaaaay behind on updtaes

Our heros ave had many stops along the strange path fate has set them. They have finally arrived in Ardis, only to find that there is no established Pathfinder Lodge. There is, however, a graveyars on a remote prision island that is dedicated to fallen Pathfinders. There they found Artimis, a Pathfinder lorekeeper who has been charged with maintaining the island’s true purpose: safeguarding unstable artifcats that have been uncovered during the course of other pathfinder’s adventures. The group has been sworn to help Artimus with his work,and Dirk was made an official Pathfinder, so he could take advantage of the organization, with the other members of the party acting as his entorage. since then, they have stopped the invasion of this worl dby an Elder God in the town of Carrion Hill, and defeated a demented, time-warping riverboat. During their travels they have Bickered with rival Pathfinders, righted the messes left by Artur Westlnder, faced off against a preist of the long entombed Whispering Tyrant, and recovered artifacts that could destroy ewntire cities in the wrong hands. Now, they face their biggest challenge: taking Ca-Caw to the Opera

I Smell A Rat

Drik, Ca-caw, Demetria, and Talathis meet at an inn in Thrushmoor. After becoming aquatinted, Talathis decides to turn in for the night, but Demetria and Dirk plan to stay up later than expected to take advantage of Ca-Caws willingness to share his knowledge, and the gullibility of the locals. Unfortunately, it also fall out that Ca-caw has no understanding of currency, and spends Demetria’s travel stipend on buying round for the inn’s patrons.

The next morning, the guests at the inn, including our heroes find that their belongings have been ransacked. The general crowd is willing to blame the petty thefts on the Varisian woman and her flashy huckster friend (Ca-Caw) and are prepared to exact mob justice, until Talathis Valadil manages to calm the crowd and assure them that the true culprits would be found. After some investigations, it is discovered that the inn is not the only place these minor burglaries have occurred. The town has, of late, been inundated with reports of small items of varying value, going missing with no explanations. After compiling all of the evidence, it is decided that the most likely culprits, no matter how unbelievable, are the local rat population.

After a small amount of searching, and a large amount of Ca-caw wrangling, our heroes find an entrance to the sewers, and a path to a section where many of the tunnels have been barricaded by rubbish or rubble. While exploring this area, they are forced to do battle with monstrous rats. They also encounter puddles of festering grey ooze, which is employed by the city to help eliminate waste products.

After nearly being buried/devoured alive by a tidal wave sized rat swarm, our heroes meet a small being who had proclaimed himself “King of Ooze” and would only be placated by a tribute. He was given a silver fork, and in return, told the adventurers of The Rat king, who lived nearby, and how he would send his pet rats out to forage for treasure.

The group eventually confronted the Rat King in his throne room. He was no match for a band of future Pathfinders however, and was dispatched, his body carried away by a wash of sewage, into the deeper depths.

The rat king’s coffers were found, and their locations reported to the town guard, but not before Dirk and Demetria had time to reimburse themselves for their troubles. As our heroes had recovered the owner’s heirloom soup ladle, their tab was erased, and a free nights stay was given (though no one was game to try the newest batch of soup served from a ladle found in the sewers.)

Every campaign gets an Adventure Log, a blog for your adventures!

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.
